CAMRA Glasgow & West of Scotland Branch Beer of the Year for 2009
During the Branch's 2010 Annual General Meeting Fyne Ales' Hurricane Jack was voted the Branch's Beer of the Year for 2009. This is a light and hoppy ale named after a charcter in Neil Munro's "Para Handy" stories about the men who sailed the puffer Vital Spark (another Fyne Ales beer!)
Fyne Ales will be presented with their award when we visit their brewery in Cairndow on Saturday 17 July. This will be combined with a tour of the brewery, a sampling of some of the beers and a barbecue.
