Cowal Coach Trip and Presentation to Kris Clark of the George Hotel, Inveraray : Argyll Pub of the Year 2016 : 1 October 2016

The main event of the Argyll coach tour was to make our Pub of the Year presentation to Kris Clark of the George Hotel in Inveraray.
Here we enjoyed some excellent Kelburn beers while Branch Vice Chairman Jonathan Kemp (left) presented Kris with our certificate.
The first stop on the tour, even before Inveraray, was the Stagecoach at Cairndow. The weather was at its best, and so were the Fyne ales!
The first stop after the George Hotel was the Creggans Inn in Stretcher where we could enjoy views of Inveraray across the loch, and a choice of Fyne ales.
After a long stretch on a narrow road we reached the Oyster Catcher in Otter Ferry. Outside there were views across Loch Fyne, inside there was a warm welcome and some more Fyne ales.
The final stop was the newly opened Holy Loch Inn in Sandbank. Here we enjoyed some good food as well as a choice of Fyne ales.
